Details of the Headstone

Extract from Main Page: John's grandmother's grave can be found to the right of the church. The headstone was erected in 1875 by Michael Ferguson and his wife Christina Campbell, who were John's great grandparents. Their daughter, also called Christina Campbell, who died in 1944, also appears on the headstone. She adopted John's mother, Christina (my kids' great grandma), who is still alive today aged 88 and living in a Liverpool retirement home. |

Left Panel: Their daughter Catherine who died 9th Feby 1874 aged 2 years 3 months. Also their son Thomas Miller died 20 March 1844 aged 4 months and 15 days. The above Christina Campbell died 10th December 1886 aged 44 years. The above Michael Ferguson Died 20th June 1904 aged 74 years. And their daughter Christina who died 8th February 1944 aged 72 years |
Right Panel: His father Donald Ferguson who died 25th February 1874 aged 74 years His mother Catherine Smith who died 17th September 1864 aged 74 years. And his brother John who died 7th June 1869 aged 41 years. |
